sometimes i think i was born in the wrong era. i've always been drawn into the stories behind the old sepia photos of years gone by. i never tire of hearing my momma tell me in detail the colors of her world that are tucked in our family photo box full of sepias and black and whites...(yes...barbara, it's hereditary!) i wish i had some to share here.
today as i was cleaning the kitchen i heard this song on country...'you should've seen it in color'...it's really twangy...so if you have a weak stomach for country...beware...but, the message is a good one.
still life photos of a corner in my living room.
ps....after i posted this and read it, i loved the idea of 'still life'....and the messages behind the still lives of our ancestors. if we ask them...i just bet we'd hear stories rich with color.
such loveliness.
so happy all your sweeties are headed home to be with you.

Ah, Annie, your photographs are beautiful! I especially love the one with the cross in it. I love that song, too - I don't think I'd ever heard it - thanks for sharing! love ya!
