the sea...she beckons

i hear her calling me...i have been summoned...she knows it's been way too long since i have sat at her doorsteps and soaked in her healing powers...

i will comply...i will let her wash away my cares...i will take in all her magnificence...beauty, and calmness that she offers.

i will get lost in the hypnotic waves coming ashore...

and i will look up into the heavens and give thanks and show gratitude for the blessings in my life.  

i am heading out to the west coast for a few days...to meet up with some newfound friends...share in their sweetness, and yes some alone time at the seashore one last time before my beloved & favorite time of the year makes her short, but oh so sweet, spectacular performance here in the rolling midwestern hills. til next time...love, me

I so know how you feel Annie, I work near the sea and go there in my lunch hour as often as I can, I sleep like a baby on those nights.
